Fort Mill police have arrested a local man for sex crimes against two girls.
Dean N. West, 41, of Garrett Green Way, was charged last week with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The victims are ages 12 and 15.
Fort Mill police received information from the Broken Arrow Police Department in Oklahoma that the 12-year-old had disclosed to them that she was abused by West, according to an incident report. As a result of this information, detectives found out that the girl’s older sister was also sexually abused by West.
It appears some of the crimes occurred in Fort Mill, leading to his arrest here. On Friday, West remained in the York County Detention Center on the sex charges. The jail was also holding him for Immigration Customs Enforcement, according to the YCDC website.
