The Fort Mill School District announced Wednesday afternoon that all face-to-face students will learn online from December 17th-18th.

This comes following the rise of positive COVID-19 cases from schools throughout the district and the fear of community spread through families, students, and staff. Each school will communicate virtual learning plans to all families and teachers. The change will not impact students currently enrolled in the Fort Mill Virtual Academy.

The Fort Mill School District has determined that all schools in the district will move to virtual learning for all face-to-face students for December 17–18.

As positive cases have been reported to the district during the week, patterns have indicated the possibility of community spread in several schools in the district. This decision was made with the safety of our students, staff and community in mind. Each school has a plan for virtual learning and will be communicating details directly to students, parents and staff. This change does not impact Fort Mill Virtual Academy students.
