Nation Ford High School

Nation Ford High School was named Tuesday as a finalist for this year’s Palmetto’s Finest award!

The award, given by the S.C. Association of School Administrators (SCASA), recognizes schools which offer excellent instruction and outstanding leaders, enhanced by strong family and community involvement and a supportive business community.

The selection process includes a review of a school’s program, focusing on the key question: “What impact is this school making on the lives of students and the community?”

The other school competing against Nation Ford is River Bluff High School from Lexington County School District One.

The winner will be announced March 19. Last year’s winner was Chapman High School in Spartanburg District 1.

Finalists will watch the announcement from their schools via live streaming.  All finalists receive statewide recognition and a plaque. Winners also receive a “Palmetto’s Finest School” banner, bumper stickers for all their staff members, and a Palmetto’s Finest ring for the principal.
