On Monday morning, local residents honored the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the MLK Day of Giving at the Fort Mill Town Hall. 

Several people dropped in to donate items. Canned goods, hats, gloves and toiletries were collected for the FM Church of God Food Pantry and the Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen.

Also, many residents took time to send an inspirational message to our troops serving abroad.
