A recent fundraiser by the St. Philip Church and the Knights of Columbus led to the collection of 13,020 pounds of food and basic supplies for the Fort Mill Care Center

That’s six and a half tons! The collection surpassed last year’s collection of 11,000 pounds.

   The fundraiser was accomplished with the support of the Fort Mill’s Two Men and a Truck on Nov. 23-24 at St. Philip Neri Parish.

   “This could not be done without the tremendous generosity of our parish community, the hard work of the Knights of Columbus and the generous donation by Two Men and a Truck to provide a box truck for loading and hauling the food,” said Doug Wagner.

The Fort Mill Care Center provides assistance with food, fuel, power, heat, and medicine to the citizens of Fort Mill.
