Grab your coats! Carowinds has announced plans to reopen for the holidays beginning Nov. 21.

The public is invited for Carowinds’ Taste of the Season: An Outdoor Holiday Food Festival from Nov. 21-Dec. 20. There will be limited capacity and those who want to go should reserve your spots as soon as possible, the park said.

According to the theme park’s website, Season Passholder reservations are available starting Nov. 9. Daily Tickets (which include your reservation) are available starting Nov. 11.

From the park’s website: “Our Christmas event is an outdoor dining experience with a sleigh-full of family activities. Purchase a Tasting Card to choose among 30 samples of holiday sweets and savories. Sip the season with specialty drinks from Santa’s mixologists. Feast your eyes on dazzling holiday décor, enjoy seasonal shows, and wrap up your Christmas shopping. What’s more, select family rides are open to deliver the ear-to-ear smiles and belly laughs you can always count on from Carowinds.”

Park officials say they are want the public to enjoy the holiday event and feel safe when visiting. They have developed an extensive reopening plan with new processes and enhanced procedures throughout the park to help reduce the spread of germs. A few notes:

• All guests and associates will be required to wear face coverings while in the park.

• All guests must reserve their visit in advance through our website or mobile app before coming to the park.

• Health screenings and temperature checks will be required for all guests and associates.

Capacity is limited, and reservations are required, so secure your spots when available.
