The saggy pants incident happened Oct. 5 at the QuikTrip on 1312 Highway 160 East, Fort Mill.

A Fort Mill mother says a QuikTrip customer spit on her after she confronted him about his saggy pants, according to a police report.

The 43-year-old woman was inside the store last week with her two boys, ages 15 and 12. She noticed the man was wearing a white sweatshirt and black pants that were below his waist line.

“(She) confronted the suspect and complained about how he wore his pants in public” because her children were present, according to the Fort Mill Police report. The man reacted by pulling his pants down further and using several curse words and derogatory terms toward the mom.

She paid and walked outside, where the same man was making obscene gestures at her from inside his silver sedan.

“She approached the vehicle and knocked on the suspect’s window to confront him once more,” the police report says. “The suspect rolled down his window and spit” in her face.

The suspect then drove away and she called police. She described him as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, black curly hair with black facial hair.

The mother told responding officers that the man had a North Carolina tag beginning with RAD. Police believe it was a Volkswagen after reviewing the surveillance tape.
