A Fort Mill police dispatcher says there is no longer a danger after a shooter reportedly fired at Trump supporters waving flags on an Interstate 77 overpass.

According to local resident Angie Ervin Freeman, supporters of President Trump were waving flags at the I-77 Bridge by Love’s Truck Stop on Monday when someone opened fire. She said police were looking for a red 4 Door Car that got off Good Hill Road.

“Everyone is ok, lots of men women and children were present,” Freeman wrote on Facebook. “Just so happens a Highway patrolman had just crossed the bridge and heard the shots, he turned around and was on it. Got a few in cuffs right now.”
