Want to help guide the Fort Mill School District for the next four years?

Filing opens to run on Monday and closes after two weeks, according to the York County Board of Voter Registration and Elections.

Filing for nonpartisan offices goes from Monday, Aug. 3, to Friday, Aug. 17, beginning and ending at noon.

The Fort Mill Board of Trustees school board has three at-large seats that are up for a vote. Those seats are currently held by Kristy Spears, Tom Audette and Dr. Scott Frattaroli. (Seats occupied by Wayne Bouldin, Michele Branning, Celia McCarter and Brian Murphy are up for re-election in 2022.)

There are no filing fees associated with the offices, however, candidates must file with the York County Board of Voter Registration and Elections during the filing time, which is located at The Government Center, 6 South Congress Street, Suite 1201, York, SC 29745.
