Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain will play Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker

A casting company is asking for extras for an upcoming biopic movie on Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker that will film in Charlotte in the next two months.

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is seeking anyone interested in appearing in the background during the filming of “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” which will star Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain as the heads of The PTL Club and Heritage USA in Fort Mill. The film will look at the extraordinary rise, fall, and redemption of the televangelists.

The company is seeking extras of all ages and types, from children up to seniors. All extras will be paid.

How to Apply: Those interested in being considered for filming should submit two current photos (a close up and a full length). These photos can be taken with a cell phone. Also include: Your Name, Phone, Age, City/State you reside, Height/Weight, Clothing Sizes, Description of any visible tattoos and piercings, Color/ Make/ Model, year car you drive.

Submissions should be sent to Charlottemovieextras@gmail.com with the heading being your Ethnicity, Gender, Age and City/State you reside. Example: Asian Male, 42, Charlotte, NC.

Producers are also seeking period cars from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. If interested in submitting your period vehicle for possible filming, please make sure you include a photo of your vehicle, vehicle information (year/make/model) along with your name and phone number.

The company says those interested in filming with or without your vehicle should include their photos and information as well. Submissions for period vehicles can be sent with the heading Vintage vehicles.
