The Nation Ford High School Band continued its winning ways Saturday by earning the highest score overall at the 2019 C. Phillip McIntyre Tournament of Bands in Duncan, S.C.

During the competition at James F. Byrnes High School, the Falcons were named Class 7A Champions and “Grand Champion” by earning the highest score overall. 

Nation Ford had the highest score in visual performance, music effect, and visual effect. They also received awards for best music and best percussion, according to Ray Linkous, Director of Bands.

The Nation Ford Band’s next performance will be this Saturday (Oct. 5) in the Kennesaw Mountain Marching Invitational at Kennesaw Mountain High School, just outside of Atlanta in Kennesaw, Ga.
