Crews will remove and replace several sidewalks at the Town of Fort Mill YMCA Complex on Tom Hall Street beginning Monday, Sept. 9.
The construction project will involve the removal of 11,200 square feet of concrete sidewalks, which had been damaged over time by tree root damage, settling issues and cracks. The goal is to replace the sidewalks in phases with solid concrete.
The project begins Monday with sidewalks along the back portion of the tennis courts and will make its way gradually to the front of the building. Some parking spaces may be blocked during the project.
The project, which will be completed by Eddie Smith and Sons Paving, LLC, is expected to finish before the end of September.
