Residents of “Willows at Fort Mill” are complaining to the sheriff’s office about a man who is following females to their apartments and trying to force his way inside.

A 47-year-old resident reported her bizarre encounter with the man on Wednesday, saying he urinated on her apartment door after she went inside.

The woman said she had been outside near the pet waste station and saw the man.

“The suspect began to approach her and was just staring at her with an extremely mean look on his face,” a sheriff’s report says. “She began walking back to her apartment and the suspect jammed his hand into his pocket and began to follow her.”

The woman was able to get inside her apartment and lock the door and then saw urine running in, under the door. She told responding deputies that she had to throw away her doormat because it was soaked with urine. A deputy arrived to find a puddle of urine running down the concrete and on the victim’s door threshold, a report says.

The woman told officers about a community billboard that documented several incidents with the same suspect over the past two weeks where he “followed different females to their apartments” and tried to force his way inside.

The maintenance man also said on Tuesday that the same suspect had been hanging around the pool area and had been dodging the employees around the buildings. He told another resident that “he was going to have sex with one of the females that he had been watching at the pool,” a report says.

Deputies obtained video from apartment surveillance, the report says.
