Mark your calendars. The annual Crown Preview Show will be held on Sunday, June 16, at Nation Ford High School stadium. 

This is the 30th anniversary of Carolina Crown, and the event is an important opportunity to help the NAFO band raise money and awareness for their program! The gates will open at 5 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family. There will be concessions, 50/50 raffle, and the Carolina Crown store will be open for purchases, according to organizers. All proceeds will benefit Nation Ford High School Marching Band.

Based out of Fort Mill, this is the largest performing ensemble offered by the Carolina Crown Organization. Students from all over the world come to audition on an annual basis to become part of this national touring group of 154 members.

The general make-up of the group is young people between the ages of 16 and 22 who aspire to become music educators, performing artist and the leaders of tomorrow. While touring the nation, the group performs while participating in competitions held in conjunction with Drum Corps International.
